Make a carnival mask using our template

Not only for the time of carnival season do we bring you four fun PDF templates: two mask-making templates and two coloring pages featuring a fox and an owl. With the templates, you can create a cat mask or a colorful Venetian mask. With the coloring pages, children will enjoy lots of fun and may even decorate their room.

What will you need?

• a printer
• cardstock or foam sheets, alternatively colored paper
• a pencil, scissors, glue, an elastic band or a wooden skewer
• decorating supplies – colored pencils, markers, watercolors, glitter, feathers, leaves, sequins, stickers, etc.

How to make a mask?

1. Print the selected template.

2. Cut it out and trace it onto cardstock or foam.

3. Cut out the mask, eye holes, and smaller decorative parts.

4. Start coloring and decorating.

5. If you want the mask to stay on the face by itself, thread an elastic band through the holes on the sides of the mask or attach it using a hot glue gun.

For occasional hiding behind the mask, it is enough to glue a wooden skewer to one side with tape or a hot glue gun and hold the mask by it.
